Jarvis B. Läkemäker is an associate with Ken David & Associates, LLC. He concentrates his practice in the firm’s Civil Litigation Practice Group, representing companies, individuals, and government employees and agencies in a variety of civil matters. Jarvis is also active in the area of workers’ compensation defense, representing employers, insurers and third party administrators with claims throughout Georgia.

Prior to joining the firm, Jarvis was a partner with FisherBroyles, LLP, where he represented health plans, fiduciaries, third party administrators, individuals, and plan participants and beneficiaries in ERISA and managed care cases.  Jarvis has also handled a variety of civil litigation matters involving creditor’s rights litigation, including suits on account, credit card contract, auto repossession, and student loan default cases. Jarvis acted as lead defense counsel on FDCPA, TILA, GAFBPA, TCPA, and UDPTEA claims.

Military service brought Jarvis to Georgia in 1999 where he served as an intelligence analyst and security manager for the 13th Corps Support Battalion at Ft. Benning. From 2001 through 2003 Jarvis performed geopolitical intelligence analysis for US Army South in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Following his military service, Jarvis enrolled at Columbus State University where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree. Jarvis graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2010. While enrolled in law school Jarvis was a member of Working in the Public Interest and the American Constitutional Society. Jarvis also participated in the Public Interest Practicum where he organized a project that worked with the State Bar of Georgia to provide assistance to Georgia veterans.
